DolbomDream Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) values your personal information and complies with applicable laws and regulations, including the Personal Information Protection Act. Through this Privacy Policy, the Company informs you of how the personal information you provide is used and managed, and what measures are taken to protect it.

Personal Information Collected and Collection Methods

a. Types of personal information collected
The Company collects the following personal information for membership registration, consultations, and service applications.
- Upon membership registration: name, date of birth, gender, login ID, password, home phone number, mobile phone number, email address, and for users under 14, legal guardian information
- Upon service application: address, payment information

During service use or business processing, service usage records, access logs, cookies, access IP, payment records, and records of improper use may be generated and collected.

b. Collection methods
- Website, written forms, bulletin boards, email, event applications, delivery requests, telephone, fax, and collection tools that generate information

Purpose of Collection and Use of Personal Information

The Company uses collected personal information for the following purposes.
Performance of contracts for service provision and settlement of fees for services provided
Provision of content, purchase and payment processing, delivery of goods or sending invoices, identity verification for financial transactions, and financial services

Member management
Identity verification for membership services, personal identification, prevention of fraudulent use by unauthorized or improper members, confirmation of intent to register, age verification, verification of legal guardian consent for collection of personal information from children under 14, complaint handling and customer service, and delivery of notices

Marketing and advertising
Delivery of promotional information such as events, analysis of access frequency, and statistics on service usage

Retention and Use Period of Personal Information

In principle, personal information is destroyed without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved. However, certain information may be retained for the period specified below for the reasons stated.

a. Reasons for retention under the Company’s internal policy
Even after a member withdraws, the Company may retain member information for oo years from the termination date of the service agreement to prevent repeated misuse by improper members, resolve disputes, and cooperate with investigative authorities upon request.

b. Reasons for retention under applicable laws
Where retention is required under applicable laws such as the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, the Company retains member information for the period prescribed by relevant laws as follows.

Records related to contracts or withdrawal of subscription
- Reason: Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce
- Retention period: 5 years

Records related to payment and supply of goods, etc.
- Reason: Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce
- Retention period: 5 years

Records related to consumer complaints or dispute resolution
- Reason: Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce
- Retention period: 3 years

Log records
- Reason: Protection of Communications Secrets Act
- Retention period: 3 months

Procedures and Methods for Destruction of Personal Information

In principle, the Company destroys personal information without delay once the purpose of collection and use has been achieved. The procedures and methods are as follows.

Destruction procedure
Information entered for membership registration, etc. is transferred to a separate DB (or stored separately in a file cabinet for paper documents) after the purpose is achieved, and then stored for a certain period in accordance with internal policies and relevant laws (see “Retention and Use Period”), after which it is destroyed.
Personal information transferred to a separate DB is not used for any purpose other than retention, unless required by law.

Destruction method
Personal information stored in electronic file form is deleted using technical methods that prevent recovery and reproduction.

Provision of Personal Information

In principle, the Company does not provide users’ personal information to third parties. However, exceptions apply in the following cases.
When users have given prior consent
When required by law or when investigative authorities request it in accordance with legal procedures for investigative purposes

Outsourcing of Collected Personal Information

For service performance, the Company outsources certain tasks to external service providers as follows.

Outsourced tasks: product delivery, returns, and exchanges

Outsourced party: KG Inicis
Outsourced tasks: payment processing

KakaoTalk Notification Message Service

To improve services, “DolbomDream” may outsource the processing of personal information to external parties after obtaining member consent or after disclosing/notifying relevant matters in accordance with applicable laws.
The Company’s subcontractors and the details of outsourced tasks are as follows.

- Subcontractor: Lunasoft Co., Ltd.
- Recipient of personal information: Kakao Corp.
- Outsourced tasks: sending KakaoTalk Alimtalk (informational messages)

Rights of Users and Legal Guardians and How to Exercise Them

Users may view or modify their registered personal information at any time and may request membership withdrawal.
To view or modify personal information, click “Change Personal Information” (or “Edit Member Information”), and to withdraw consent (withdraw membership), click “Withdraw Membership” after completing identity verification to directly access, correct, or withdraw.
Alternatively, you may contact the Personal Information Protection Officer in writing, by phone, or by email, and the Company will take action without delay.
If you request correction of an error in your personal information, the Company will not use or provide the relevant personal information until the correction is completed. If incorrect personal information has already been provided to a third party, the Company will notify the third party of the correction without delay to ensure the correction is made.
Personal information terminated or deleted at the user’s request is processed in accordance with “Retention and Use Period of Personal Information” and is not accessible or used for any other purpose.

Matters Concerning Installation, Operation, and Refusal of Automatic Personal Information Collection Devices

The Company uses “cookies” to store and retrieve information from time to time. Cookies are small text files sent by the server operating the website to your browser and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
The Company uses cookies for the following purposes.

Purpose of using cookies, etc.
1. Analyze access frequency and visit time of members and non-members, identify user preferences and interests, track activity, measure event participation and visit counts, and provide targeted marketing and personalized services
2. You have the option to allow or refuse cookie installation. You may allow all cookies, prompt confirmation each time a cookie is saved, or refuse all cookies through your browser settings.

1. You may configure your web browser options to allow all cookies, prompt confirmation when cookies are saved, or refuse all cookies.

3. Please note that refusal of cookie installation may cause difficulties in providing services.
